Ethan Flynn is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Santa Cruz, CA who attends Valley Christian Schools. Defensively, in the outfield he shows an ability to come and get it with moderate arm strength. In the infield, corner profiled strong athletic build, with above average range and strong accurate throws across the diamond. He sets up upright in the box with excellent balance through the swing that starts with moderate striding leg kick, as well as a simple and direct bat path that works through the middle. There's definite strength to drive baseballs deep in the air. On the mound, the arm is quick with high over the top release, spun the fastball 2083 rpm with late running life. Additionally, showed a feel to spin a sharp curveball that had downer break and produced swing and miss on well executed breakers below the zone. The mechanics were sound for the age, coiling well into the back leg to gain good push and direction of the rubber. The front side stays firmed up through release and the command was solid-average throughout the outing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
