2021 National Underclass East Showcase
Cooper Consiglio is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends East Lake. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.64 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, has a quick and athletic delivery with good body control throughout; works through an extended three-quarters slot with great arm speed and a clean release as he gets across his body well and generates excellent life to the fastball. Challenged hitters with all three pitches; missed a number of bats with the fastball, showed feel for a firm changeup with good fade down and landed a big curveball with hard bite to it. Also worked out in the outfield and at first base, shows enough athleticism to get to the ball well at both positions, fielding the ball cleanly and showing arm strength that plays from both spots well. Left-handed hitter, has a loose swing and generates some whip to the barrel on a level swing plane with present feel for the barrel that showed well in game-action. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Hawaii. Named to 2021 National Underclass East Showcase Top Prospect List.
