Aidan Schultz is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Loveland, CO who attends Thompson Valley. Athletic strong build. Primary right handed pitcher. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online through finish. Uses a long loose arm action moving to a high three-quarter arm slot at release with good arm speed. Showed a fastball up to 85 MPH with heavy life through the zone creating a lot of swing and miss complemented by a 10/4 curveball with sharp sweeping actions across the zone at 73 miles per hour. The curveball created a lot of bad swings when started off the right handed hitters front hip. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright stance with a leg lift trigger. Flashed a line drive plane working gap to gap with the ability to create backspin to and through the gaps in the outfield. Good student. Named to the 2019 Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.
