Quinlan Wiley is a 2021 1B/RHP, UT with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends East Coweta HS. Quinlin is a long and lean athlete who has the frame to add both strength and twitch as he continues to mature. He shows great energy and passion for the game and an ability to play more than one position. He ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. On the hill, his length and arm action play to his advantage. He shows a plus driectional plane down the slope. He puts little strain on his arm as his mechanics are sound and repeatable. He works his 82-85 mph FB to both sides of the plate with confidence and a plan. His 73-mph CB is a tight spinner that he has great feel for. He shows excellent mound presence and tempo. At 1B, he is light on his feet and shows a consistent glove. and an easy, consistent arm action. At the plate, he shows looseness to his path and whip in his barrel. He doesn't get cheated and flashes plus raw power. He has plus upside with the bat. In the classroom, Quinlin is a strong student!.
