Michael Sprockett is a 2021 C/1B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Liberty Township, OH who attends Lakota East. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Hits from open-based stance, gets coiled into back hip and loads well with balance, extremely strong in lower half and it shows in swing, real bat speed with leverage off of front side, smoked balls pull-side consistently, very loud offensive performance. Stood out defensively as well, low set with good flex in hips, explodes out of crouch and gains ground well, accurate throws with plenty of zip and carry, very good all-around prospect with substantial upside. Named to 2020 Great Lakes Indoor Top Prospect List, excellent student.
