Ty Evans is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Auburndale, FL who attends Lakeland Christian. Big and strong athletic build with some projection remaining. Outstanding runner for his size, 6.46 in the sixty. Quick to the ball in the outfield, fields out front with clean hands, has arm strength with carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a rotational upper body swing, works gap to gap with good carry, can get better and looser extension through the ball. Also pitched, high energy delivery with a deep arm action in back and a quick arm coming through, short stride out front. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, soft frisbee slider he gets under. Very good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
