2020 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Christopher Ceballos is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Azusa, CA who attends Charter Oak. Long and lean frame with tremendous physical projection. Ran a 6.76 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works a very balanced and controlled delivery with good drive down the mound and intent to both halves of the plate. Has a quick arm through a high three-quarters slot that creates good life to the fastball with occasional cut towards the glove side. Fills the zone and challenges hitters with the fastball while mixing in a quality power breaking ball with great depth and downward bite. Great upside as a pitcher at the next level. Also worked out in the outfield with some athleticism to actions and uses arm strength especially well to create strong throws to bags. Right-handed hitter, sets up spread and uses a longer swing with strength behind it to create jump off impact and carry to the pull side when he squares it. Very good student. Named to 2020 West Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
