Gabe Albertson is a 2023 1B/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Wellesley, MA who attends Wellesley. Long, lean frame with present physicality and room to fill out. Recorded a 7.49 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with segmented actions into and throughout the fielding process. Fields cleanly out in front and exhibits deliberate footwork to turn and make throws to the bags. Recorded arm strength up to 73 mph across the diamond during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider, open stance with a tight hand start and high back elbow. Employs a small inward hover as his loading mechanism and coils well into his back hip. Whole field approach with inside-out hand path, creates good leverage out in front and strength at impact to produce well-struck line drives. Functional swing that carried well into game play, where he showcased the aforementioned strength and power potential. Fundamentally sound defender with offensive prowess and upside, will continue to expand overall skill set with additional strength and minor refinements. Good Student. Named to the 2022 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
