Carlos Torres is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Coamo, PR who attends Perkiomen HS. Extra big and strong build. High 3/4's arm slot, pulls down hard to his front side, has energy at release. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, gets hard and late sinking action when down in the zone. Flashed good spin and depth on his curveball, tends to shorten arm arch on his curveball and cut himself off out front. Arm strength prospect who will keep improving with repetitions and mechanical adjustments. Very good student.
