Jimmy Weick is a 2020 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends Westminster Academy. Larger frame with a long and slender build with some room to add moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher with a side step delivery to the plate. Creates some deception down the mound. Maintains direction to the plate. Hides the ball in a short arm circle in back and into a side arm release. Works through extension to the plate well. Creates sharp arm side run and slight sinking action on the fastball topping out at 79 MPH. Slider type breaking ball with varying shape depending on the release. Slight downward break with lateral movement showing consistent two-plane life through the zone at 68 MPH. Excellent student as well.
