Colin Dempsey is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Boise, ID who attends Bishop Kelly. Medium, average frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.77 seconds. Primary RHP whose FB was 75-81 mph and hate significant late cutting action that generated swings and misses. His CB topped out at 67 mph and had deep, 12/6 shape that he also showed advanced feel for. Creates deception throughout his delivery that allows the arsenal to play up even more. In the OF his throws peaked at 84 mph with plenty of carry to them. At the plate he hits out of a slightly open stance with a high hands setup. Showed a flat bat path through the zone which is suited for producing line drives. Has some quickness in the hands, quality intent in his swings and a gap to gap approach. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
