Juan Abreu is a 2020 OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Barceloneta, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Recorded a 6.80 second 60-yard dash time. Lean, athletic frame with room for physical projection. Primary outfielder with a loose arm stroke and good arm strength recorded up to 86 mph into the infield. Attacks the ball nicely and plays through the ball nicely. Maintains momentum and has very good accuracy. Righthanded hitter with an upright wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Loft to the swing with good feel for the barrel. Has some wrap to the bat path with a line drive swing plane and approach. Sprays the ball nicely to all fields and power projects given the frame and athleticism.
