Joshua Bybee is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Madison Academy. Recorded a 7.48 second 60-yard dash time. Primary left-handed outfielder with a medium frame and slender build. Deliberate actions on approach while fielding in the outfield with a short and quick release. Two-hand gather with accurate throws to the bases at 79 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher with a short side step to a high belt leg lift from the third base side of the rubber. Repeatable delivery with a medium arm swing behind to a 3/4 slot. Three-pitch mix with fastball up to 77 mph, curveball mid-60s and changeup in the 66-69 mph range. Moves the ball around the zone and mixes speeds with a feel to pitch. Left-handed hitter with an open front side and compact swing. Leg lift trigger for separation with a short stride and barrel awareness in the box. Works best gap-to-gap with line-drive swing path and developing impact from barrel control.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
