Charlie Carter is a 2023 C/1B, 3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Little Rock Christian Academy. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, receives the ball out front, utilizes a short stride coming out to gain some ground, quick transfer out of glove, stays taller throughout actions, arm strength and carry on throws down to second base showing accuracy on the bag. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, subtle shift through lower half and can continue to implement more moving forward. Upper body dominant swing, keeps hands inside and shows strength and carry off the barrel to all parts of the field, shows a handle for the barrel and incorporates physical strength into swing.
