Connor Laskey is a 2022 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Lambertville, MI who attends Bedford Senior. Medium frame with room to continue to fill out and time to do so. Ran a 7.02 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with young actions, takes a long release into throws creating some uphill carry across the diamond, flashed efficient footwork working into his release, showcased some range and made all plays, topped out at 72 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, bends at his waist at the top of balance point, takes his arm back to a compact arm action, utilizes drop and drive actions down the mound with a developing use of his lower half, fastball topped out at 71 mph. Righthanded hitter, sets up with an even stance, creates an uphill swing plane at the plate, could incorporate a weight shift into contact for additional pop off of the barrel, young barrel feel presently.
