Wilfredo Sánchez is a 2019 OF/1B/3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, SD. Large frame with strong, physical build. 20 years old at the time of the showcase. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.38 seconds. Hits from spread stance with good balance, swing will get stiff, has significant strength and it shows when he's on time in the box, has big time raw power with carry and velocity when squared up, significant power at present. Worked out in two spots, primarily an outfielder, shows good athleticism for outfield corner spot, arm strength gives him a solid right field profile, clocked up to 91 mph. Also looked good at first base, moves well and understands footwork, also threw 91 mph across. Named to 2019 World Showcase Top Prospect List.
