Alexander Anderson is a 2023 C/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends Rancho Buena Vista. Medium frame with room to fill out physically. Ran a 7.86 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up low in stance with a slightly side straddle setup, has a sound exchange from glove to hand, gets it out well and stays around the bag with throws. Also worked out in the infield, has developing footwork to the ball but fields it out front well, throws from an extended slot and arm strength works to stay on the left side of the infield. Right-handed hitter, sets up spread and bent at the knees, works short to the ball with some quickness to his hands, swings around it at times and cuts off extension but has some consistency that will improve with added strength. Outstanding student.
