Alejandro Cesena is a 2023 C/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Lemon Grove, CA who attends Helix. Medium developing build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. From the infield, fields out in front and is meticulous with his glove work. Makes the routine plays with consistency. Moves pretty well to both his left and his right. Rounds the ball well and creates good direction through the baseball towards first base. Arm strength across the diamond will continue to improve alongside his build. At the plate, uses a conventional and upright stance with a toe tap trigger. Throws his hands direct to the baseball, still understanding his rhythm and timing with the pitcher. Pull side approach, great student in the classroom as well.
