Brady Baalaer is a 2024 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends L'Anse Creuse North. Big athletic build for a freshman, really projects well physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with strong lower half move into contact, hands start tight but fires them hard and gets extension out front, has present bat speed with plenty more to come, big power potential. 7.75 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher, has good hand quickness receiving and in his exchange, long and loose arm stroke with good carry on his throws, makes accurate throws, gets out of his crouch well with some young athletic explosion, has the tools and build to continue to develop behind the plate defensively. Also plays third base. Took a turn on the mound, showed his arm strength well with a fastball that reached 80 mph with good running life at times, also threw a slow curveball where he tended to slow his body and arm to throw. Very good student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
