Nathan Negre is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Aurora, MO who attends Aurora. A medium frame and athletic build with strength present. Ran a 6.52 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop with middle infield versatility. Started his round off by showing a quick first step and footwork that carried him directly to the baseball. Quick-twitch athlete who moved well, creating momentum as he fielded, gathered, and worked through the throw. Threw 90 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter with a wide base, the hands set high, a high back elbow, and slightly open front side. Uses leg lift timing with athletic movement to keep him on time and connected. Has plenty of hand speed, getting separation as he comes through the zone with a level bat path and high finish through the zone. There was some snap to the swing during his round, producing juice and plenty of louder barrels. Very good student.
