2022 High School All State Select Championship (2023-2024 Grads)
Caden Baker is a 2024 MIF/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Stratford. Smaller frame with a lean athletic build. Ran a 6.85 second 60-yard, good athlete as a whole. Primary middle-infielder, good mover on the dirt with excellent range and balance around the infield, plays low to the ball and sets glove well, clean transfers and arm strength plays well across. Also plays some outfield, athletic there and works to and through the ball well, good feel to carry momentum through it, mid-80s arm strength shows well, clean defender. Left-handed hitter, clean compact stroke with lots of consistency and barrel accuracy, works it out on time well and turns the barrel with intent, has good hitterish traits and controls the zone well, leadoff-type tools as he refines.
