2021 Class of 2024 All-American Games
Owen Yarussi is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cranberry Township, PA who attends Seneca Valley. Primary left-handed pitcher with medium frame and slender build. Stretch only with a balanced delivery and lift just over the belt. Slightly closed front-side landing with 3/4 slot, working the fastball away to right-handed hitters with an athletic fluid delivery. Ran the fastball up to 82 mph and showed a 2-8 curveball in high-60s with a slider in the mid-70s. Featured a true three-pitch mix and looks to add more size and strength for increased velocity from projectable frame. Secondary outfielder position recording a 7.38 second 60-yard dash time. Right-handed hitter with an upright stance and even base with a high-hands set. Lift and replace front foot trigger to a high back elbow slot with an uphill swing plane. Showed quick hands and bat speed to the pull side with some impact and more in the future from projectable frame. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
