Andrew Jergins is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Berkeley Preparatory. Ran a 6.91 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a lengthy build and more upside to project on, starts with a big side step into a high leg kick with a hip turn at the top, stays tall on the backside before landing closed and throwing with some cross body actions, showed a compact arm action working to an extended three-quarters slot, fastball sat 83-87 mph and topped out at 88 mph, change up was in the low 70's with short sinking action when down in the zone, showed a curveball in the low 70's with varying arm speed, was able to mix bot offering for strikes. Good student, Verbal commitment to Duke.
