Nick Olivarez is a 2021 C/3B with a 5-8 190 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Springs. Compact strong build. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a high hand/high back elbow start, shifts well into contact and uses his strong lower half well to help generate bat speed, clears his hips well, nice swing with the ability to impact the ball and drive the ball to the gaps. 8.08 runner, receives the ball cleanly behind the plate, has good fundamental footwork, will continue to improve defensively with increased athleticism and arm strength. Bat is his tool. Very good student.
