Logan Sorrel is a 2026 3B/RHP, OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends The Dunham. Logan ran a 7.27 sixty yard dash. He has a long very slender frame with a ton of projectibility going forward. Primary infielder Sorrel catches the ball out front with clean glove work. His hands work well through the baseball with clean glove to hand transfers. He showed good arm strength across the infield with plenty of carry on the throws. On the mound Logan is impressive. Start with a belt hight leg lift he creates plenty of extension down the mound. He works with an easy athletic low effort delivery with a straight over the arm slot and good arm speed. Sorrel worked with a low-80s fastball which topped at 84mph that he showed good command of to both sides of the plate. Working a true three pitch mix he threw a slider with sharp 11-5 break that he showed plenty of comfort and good feel for in any count. He also mixed in a CH that tunneled his fastball really well which he gathered plenty of swing and misses on. He struck out all 9 batters that he faced. Right handed hitter he works with a wide even foot base with a small toe tap trigger. Hands start mid and work back at load. He showed some whip in the barrel with slight lift in the bat path. The power projects well going forward as he made loud contact to all fields. Logan was named to the 2022 Deep South Prospect Showcase top team list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
