Christopher Manno -- Manno is a slender sophomore outfielder/pitcher from New York. He lists himself as a primary outfielder but we think that this might change in the future. Manno showed some interesting arm strength for a sophomore lefty. He threw 84 mph from the outfield and touched 81 mph from the mound in a short appearance. Manno’s arm is quick and smooth and his mechanics solid and we’d recommend that he keep working on his pitching. Manno hits from the left side with a slightly open stance at the plate and gets out on his front side quickly. He has a level line drive swing path and lined a couple of singles during game competition. Added strength is going to help both his hitting and his pitching. He runs fairly well and can play the game. Christopher is a strong student.
