Efrain Zambrana is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Ponce, PR who attends Reborn Christian Academy. Medium frame. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who worked out at shortstop, fielding the ball up the middle with two hands, showing a clean transfer close to the chest. Leads into a clean throwing motion that produced on-target and accurate throws. Overall his feet carried him well with fluid actions and intent behind the movement. Right-handed hitter who starts slightly open with the hands high and back elbow up. He gets his hands deep into his load. Keeps the stride simple and was able to keep a clean path to the ball and work to all fields during his round of BP. Very good student.
