Liam Gaine is a 2025 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from St.James, NY who attends Smithtown East. Gaine works from a longer limbed build with plenty of projection remaining. As a primary OF, he showcased a compact arm stroke with athletic actions and accurate throws on the bag up to 79 mph. Expect arm strength to tick up as the frame continues to fill out. On the bump, Gaine really attempted to get on top of pitches and work downhill chucking exclusively from the stretch. He flashed developing spin in the arsenal with a vertically shaped curveball up to 2017 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from an open base with a high compact hand set and low back elbow producing contact to all parts of the field. He swung with intent to get the barrel extended and create impact out in front, posting an exit velo of 83 mph. Ran a 5.43 forty yard dash.
