Cristian Brewster is a 2023 SS/RHP, IF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Porter Ranch, CA who attends Chaminade College Preparatory. Lean frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.21 seconds. Primary infielder that was able to clock up to 88 mph on throws across. Showed soft hands with good footwork and a smooth transition. Has a strong arm, the ball carries well, still developing accuracy, shows ability to drop slot with comfort on the charge. Showed off his athleticism and moved well laterally to both sides of the field. Arm strength translated well on to the mound, topped out at 86 mph and worked in the mid-80s, struck out a pair, showed a curveball up to 65 mph. Deliberate tempo to delivery, leg lift just up past belt, stays shorter through the backside with plenty of quickness to arm action, lands slightly closed with strike foot. Right-handed hitter, hits from a narrow slightly upright stance, the hands sit really high above the ear. Displayed a middle away approach consistently squaring the ball up. Has a short compact swing with good bat speed, swung it well in live action, shows solid bat speed through the zone and connected for a triple over the center fielder's head. Very good student. Named to the West Coast Prospect Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
