Austin Gentile is a 2023 2B/RHP, SS, IF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Maitland, FL who attends Winter Park. Recorded a 7.25 60-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a thin build. Moved well laterally with solid hands. Showed some quickness while staying light on feet with bounce. Clean arm stroke through the back and up to 75 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter and starts from a tall, tension-free set with lower hands. Swing is line drive oriented and showed the ability to adjust and turn tightly on some balls. Stroke is hands driven and flashed some strength at contact. Secodnary right-handed pitcher working up to 78 mph on the mound. Employed a leg lift to his core and a full arm circle through the back. Repeateddelivery well and landed on line. Mixed in curveball that flashed some depth. Tremendous student.
