Owen Hammond is a 2027 3B/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Saint Louis, MI who attends Shepherd. Longer frame with well-proportioned build. Ran an 8.86 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, longer actions o the dirt with limited lateral range right now, glove works well and sets body clean, solid arm up to 77 across. Pitches too, full windup and big move down the mound, full arm stroke and shows feel for 3 pitches; up to 81 with the fastball and gets weak contact, good changeup he kills spin on and shows some feel for spin, interesting upside. Left-handed hitter, longer swing through the zone on a slightly uphill path, works to lift and can hook the ball pull side a bit, hits over the front side, overall synced up well for length of levers and can project power on.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
