Grayson Burleson is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Summertown, TN who attends Summertown. Tall and super physical build with obvious strength in the frame. Primary right-handed pitcher with a power mix, works from a full delivery, side steps into a belt high lift, arm in good position at foot strike, drives down the mound with big arm speed. Fastball got up to 91 mph with heavy life and some arm-side run, mixed in two breakers with slurvy shape that he commanded in the zone. Has all the makings of a power arm. Right-handed hitter, even base with the hands set high, big bat speed and power to all fields that he got into routinely in the round. Strength in the hands really stood out and showed bat to ball skills in game. Secondary first baseman, choppy footwork coming off the bag, fields it out front, fundamental turns with above average arm strength shown throwing across the diamond. Great student. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt. Named to 2023 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
