2021 Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Luke Marino is a 2022 OF/LHP with a 6-2 188 lb. frame from Croton-On-Hudson, NY who attends Archbishop Stepinac. From the OF, Marino attacked the ball aggressively and got to spots with direct clean footwork and a full arm action. He displayed accurate throws with carry on the ball. On the mound, Marino worked from a full over the head windup with a whippy 3/4 slot. He flashed a plus fading changeup and a mid 70s FB that had clear ASR into the hands of right handed hitters. Offensively, Marino started from a wide stance with tight compact hands and a quick bat. He showed off clear power potential and swung with intent to do serious damage. Ran a 7.44 60 yard dash. Named to the 2021 Summer Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
