Xavier Sjostedt is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Furlong, PA who attends Central Bucks-East. Sjostedt worked from the outfield, creating solid angles to the ball and putting himself in good positions to throw. He displayed a good arm with carry from a young build with lots of room to fill out. On the mound, Sjostedt was extremely deceptive with a funky delivery that made it tough on hitters to pick up out of the hand. He worked downhill well and commanded both sides of the plate flashing a low 80s FB topping 82 and an 11-5 slurve to complement. Offensively, Sjostedt started from a slightly open stance with a direct path to the baseball. He flashed quick hands and good bat speed with the ability to create lift and backspin on the ball. Ran a 7.32 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
