Joshua Whritenour is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Hudson, FL who attends A3 Academy. Taller and strong frame with current physicality on the bump. Compact and very fast arm with a clean release. Uses the base effectively to create consistent and pretty easy velocity. Lots of carry to the fastball with high spin. Really tight spin on the slider and huge swing and miss traits and also plays off his fastball shape well. Also has feel for a split finger that can disappear late and get under barrels in a hurry. Excellent student and committed to the University of Florida.
