River Scott is a 2023 RHP/SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Vista, CA who attends Rancho Buena Vista. Medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. Drop and drive mechanics with a loose arm through release, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph, gets some sink and turns the ball over at times, also showed a cutter off his fastball that had some nice late action at times. Turns over his change up hard with some sink and life, gets on top of his curveball well with some 12/6 shape to it. Velocity will continue to improve with addition strength and physical maturity. Good student.
