Carlos Caraballo is a 2024 RHP/2B/OF with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from Hanover, PA who attends Southwestern. Stalky physical frame with excellent muscular development and good all around athleticism and time to continue to add on. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.48 seconds. Primary position RHP, using a small side step to strong posture over the rubber and high leg lift to the chest. Good pace to his operation and solid presence on the bump. Compact inline arm path, generating hand quickness immediately out of the glove. Explosive core rotation at foot strike creating a FB up to 91 mph with excellent spin in the 2,400 rpm range. SL with varying shape is firm in the low-80's and solid spin traits. CH is a solid offering in the low-80's. Emerging command but this is a power oriented talent. Reps on IF and OF, working deliberately to the ball but moving well on his feet. Glove is solid and works to clean midline transfer leading to very accurate feeds with good carry in the upper-80's from both positions. RHH starting even, balanced and upright creating good leverage at contact. Good handset overt the shoulder and strong hands really creating bat head whip. Ball jumping off the bat as he impacts the ball gap to gap with low line drives. Really talented player here with a bright future. Good student as well.
