Lucas Garton is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Vineland, NJ who attends Cumberland Co Tech Ed Ct. Big and strong build, especially in the lower half. Works from a full hands over head delivery on the mound, high leg raise over the rubber, full arm takeaway to an over the top slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some cutting life, does a good job of throwing his fastball for strikes. Tends to run away from his soft curveball with his upper half, lands this pitch well but get improve his arm speed and direction on the pitch. Good student.
