Mason Lechowicz is a 2023 RHP/1B, 2B, 3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Village Of Lakewood, IL who attends Crystal Lake Central. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall frame and athletic build. Working exclusively from the stretch on the first base side of the slab with closed feet set. Quick leg lift to belt with separation of hands to a lower 3/4 arm slot release. Direct line to the plate getting down the slope with fastball up to 81 mph (2061 RPM) and curveball around 70 mph (1893 RPM). Rotational upper half upon release with ability to execute both pitches. Secondary corner infielder with throws across the diamond at 82 mph. Solid two-hand gather to release with footwork suited to the corners. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and even stance in the box. Leg-lift trigger stride with linear bat path through the zone. Middle-field approach with short compact stroke and impact to the pull side with contact out front. Excellent student.
