Breyden Turnage is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-8 225 lb. frame from Dyersburg, TN who attends Dyersburg. Outstanding athletic body with plenty of well proportioned strength and room for plenty more. Primary right handed pitcher, has a full loose arm swing from a standard leg raise delivery, front side can be early opening down the mound and leave his arm late. Fastball worked consistently in the mid-80's and topped out at 86 mph, plenty more velocity there in the future, gets nice sinking life with low spin rates on his fastball. Curveball showed some power and depth when he kept his direction and got on top of it. 7.25 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound, has soft hands and fields the ball cleanly, has an idea on his footwork. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and narrow stance, drops into his swing and gets into his lower half well, still developing timing between his lower half and his hands, flashes big pull power when he's on time. Very interesting athlete who also plays basketball. Good student. Named to the Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
