Carter Devore is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Monroe, NC who attends Union Academy. Devore works out of a medium athletic build with room to continue adding strength and filling out. From the infield, he showcased quick clean footwork with an aggressive approach to the ball. The glove work is smooth and velocity should only increase as he matures. On the mound, Devore used a compact arm action to pound the outer half of the zone. He repeatedly created swing and miss on an 11-5 breaker that he sequenced well throughout his outing. Offensively, Devore started from a balanced slightly open stance with a consistent middle of the field approach. He displayed the ability to keep the hands inside the baseball with a level swing path. Ran a 7.23 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
