Drew Fillenworth is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Norway, IA who attends Benton Community. A medium build and frame with some length in the build. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked from the wind-up, sidestepping into a leg lift up around the belt. He throws from a higher three-quarters arm slot, using a mostly fastball attack early on, working up to 81 mph. The pitch had some arm-side run and sink to it. He threw from a shorter arm action and was quick on the mound. He showed a 12-6 curveball, getting over the top of it to pull down quite well. He showed a slider in the mix with a higher tilt to it up to 71 mph but mostly relied on the curveball. He threw a ton of strikes and was efficient. Threw 3.0 innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 3 opposing hitters. He is a right-handed hitter with spread and open feet and a higher back elbow with the hands set high. He uses a leg lift trigger, striding into it. He has a quicker path, driving the hands to it with some speed. He was able to get through the zone, working with hard-line drives to the pull-side during his round of BP swings. He extends through it well and utilizes the back leg, getting on plane and driving hard through it. Produced an 84 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added a hit in-game as well. Worked out as an outfielder, charging the ball well with some momentum through it. He fields it one-handed off the front foot and had one-hop accuracy on his throws at 80 mph. He had strength showing working through it with a clean round. Had a clue for the footwork, working directly to the ball. He had a shorter release, and his throws carried well. Made a really nice diving grab in left field. He got on his horse and tracked one down, ranging inward and toward the LF line to secure the ball and pick up an out. He also worked out as an infielder, showing a shorter arm action with snatchy hands up the middle. He threw from a three-quarters arm slot and adjusted as necessary. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
