Kellen Walker is a 2022 C/2B with a 5-11 164 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Rockdale County. Recorded a 7.54 second 60 yard dash time. Primary catcher with a high and side saddle set up, long and stiff transfer. Developing footwork and arm strength, will improve as he stays low and gains ground towards second base. Secondary second baseman with quick hands, cut off arm action and inside arm path. Right-handed hitter with even hands and base, small actions throughout. Leans the head forward and throws the hands, flat bat path with a gap to gap approach. Hands work well, needs to engage the lower half with the ground. Showed some fluidity as the round progressed. Good student.
