Alandas Armistad is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Wesson, MS who attends Brookhaven Academy. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.14 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball before he gathers to the side with two hands. Scoops it up then works into transfers. Looks to carry throws all the way to target as he threw it 80 mph with accuracy during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a higher leg lift. Stays compact with the arm action before releasing from a higher three-quarter slot. Does a good job loading up on back side and driving to target. Fastball up to 78 mph and mixed in a solid 12-to-6 breaking ball. Tunneled the breaker well and proved he could miss barrels. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with an open stance and high hands. Weight starts on backside and stay there as he drifts into stride. Stays short and simple while utilizing a linear swing path as he proved he could drive it to all fields. Also flashed power to the center of the field as he generated backspin. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
