Micah Walters is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Litchfield Park, AZ who attends Verrado. Features a slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.21 60-yard. Showed solid footwork throughout outfield drills. Charges the ball well. Uses a low 3/4 arm action with a quick release. Arm strength will come as strength is added to the frame. Flashed quality range throughout infield drills. Fair glove actions and footwork allowed for the routine play to be made. Improving fluidity will allow for smooth transition into throws. Utilizes a wide, open stance in the box with hands close to the middle of the body. Small leg kick and deep hand load shift weight onto the backside well. Level bat path worked best back through the middle of the field. Continuing to develop the frame will improve the power profile. Utilizes a drop and drive delivery on the mound with moderate effort throughout. High 3/4 arm slot hides the ball well behind coiled upper half. The fastball topped out at 73 mph with some armside run. Has the ability to throw it for strikes often. Deception made it hard for hitters to barrel. Could become very intriguing arm as the body further develops. Good student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
