Gabriel Lucero is a 2022 RHP/1B, 2B, 3B, SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Western. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Two way prospect. Medium build with a simple, clean operation on the mound. Low effort delivery and repeats it well with athleticism. Throws from a three quarters arm slot with shorter arm action. His fastball shows arm side run to it. Throws a curveball that shows sharp, downward break. At the plate, keeps the bat plane level and shows the ability to drive the ball well to his pullside. Solid raw power and should continue to add as he fills out. His highest exit velocity was 81 MPH. Great student in the classroom.
