Andrew Raymond is a 2025 C/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Dunstable, MA who attends Groton Dunstable Regional. Medium, square shouldered frame with present physical strength proportioned throughout and additional room to grow. Primary catcher, higher set up behind the plate during drills, receives the ball out front, mid-line transfer and gets it out of glove quickly, compact arm action with carry down to second base and some present arm strength while showing accuracy. Also pitched, worked out of the stretch early and windup late, compact leg lift while getting tall on backside with a full arm action through the backside, shows quickness to arm, can continue to implement drive through lower half down the mound. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, some effort at release, short sink on the pitch through the zone. Found feel for slider throughout outing, up to 71 mph with tight spin and short tilting life, maintains arm speed nicely on the offering. Right-handed hitter, begins with a closed stance and barrel wrap at start of swing; handsy stroke with a full swing path through the zone and long finish at the point of contact.Upper body dominant swing, shows comfort working to pull side. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
