Jackson Austin is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Guyton, GA who attends Benedictine Military. Features a tall build with strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery with tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with some arm speed present. Hides the ball well throughout short arm action. Delivery contains moderate effort. The fastball sat 80-83 mph with armside run. The offering works well on the inner half to right-handed hitters. Pairs it with a slider at 72-75 mph with sharp, tiling action. Showed the ability to create late bite and generate whiffs often. Has feel and command for the offering present. Has potential to develop into a consistent out pitch. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with a hanging leg kick load. Swings on a slightly lofted with the ability to get the barrel out front at times. The approach is geared toward the pullside with some power that plays that way. Developing consistent barrel accuracy will allow it to play more regularly. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
