Grant McMeekin is a 2025 C/RHP, IF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Glendale, AZ who attends Mountain Ridge. Lean athletic build. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.65 seconds. Primary catcher, works from a side saddle set up, throws from a high stance gaining ground. Clocked a 1.95 pop time down to seconds, will continue to get better as he cleans up his mechanics. Also worked out in the infield, worked through the ball with stiff hands, still developing infield actions. From the mound, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, the ball jumps out of his hand and gets on hitters quickly. The fastball sat 80-86 mph with good run, paired it with a curveball that sat 71 mph. At the plate, hits from a wide even stance with a simple load and a hgh back elbow. Displayed a lofted swing with decent bat speed and a pull side approach. Great student. Was named to the Sunshine Southwest Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
