Carsen Dekeyrel is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 125 lb. frame from Andalusia, IL who attends Rockridge. He has a tall frame for his age with a thin build and a high waist and tons of physical development ahead of him. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.01 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher that works exclusively out of the stretch. He utilizes a high, knee to chest leg kick that creates some torque in his motion. He throws with a long, circular arm action and fires from a low 3/4 arm slot. He does a nice job of working down the mound and in line with the plate. His fastball showed some arm side run when he pitched to that side of the plate. His curveball showed developing spin and shape. Secondary outfielder that sits back on the ball and fields it out in front of his body. He throws with the same arm action and from the same slot that he does on the mound. Also worked out at first base, showing nice accuracy on his throws to both bases. Left-handed hitter that has a wider base with a tall, vertical set up. He has a higher effort swing that is rotational. He showed solid bat-to-ball skills and has a little recoil at contact. He has a line drive approach and looks to hit the ball in the gap.
